What an absolutely, wonderful read . Simple language , sans the bullshit so prevalent around us and a compelling read till the very end . Amit Varma is a ‘ hooker’ . More hooks please

Given how happily we spend hours with your podcasts, trusting you with 87 minutes feels more than fair.

Really good to see you back on Substack. Looking forward to reading more

I had a vague feeling that I had seen Vaishnav before when I started watching the movie. I assumed that it could only have been on Chalchitra itself. I did not think possible that my two worlds would collide in this manner. I had anyways watched the movie on the strength of Vaibhav and Chalchitra alone. What a treat to realise the connection now. Thanks Amit.

The movie was wonderful btw.

Vaibhav’s work has always inspired me, and I’m truly thankful to you for speaking about it. I also wrote a review of the film Scenes from a Situationship

Watched the film yesterday; it felt fresh and real. Absolutely amazing acting by Vaishnav! I hope it inspires more people like Vaibhav to release their creations without any hesitation.

Hello Amit! Nice to see you here. I watched the film too. The lingo in the film made me uncomfortable at times as it felt like therapy language but then the idea of the film was so on point. I can't believe it's their first film. I'm not a movie watcher at all and yet I couldn't stop watching the movie!

Was amazing to know some of the behind the scenes of this beautiful film. I loved it, it was so spot-on in capturing the highs, the lows, the colloquialisms, the silliness and the seriousness of the characters. I could see myself and my friends fitting right into the scenes of this movie, we could be part of the leads' extended circle of friends - pretty much for the first time ever.

As the kids say, this movie 'made me feel seen'.

Conversing mode . Content material is palatable.

Characters and their involvement in story as well production is given a specific mention. How best they adapted to the locale and food is worth mentioning.

Dilemma related how the film has to be given a chance is given some focus that is given attention.

Production of the film caressed by YouTube channel is given a greater focus.

Over all his approach to the viewers is simply superb .
